Project Scope: This Design-Build project was performed for GardaWorld in Terminal 3 and involved the transformation of an open-concept office space into a four-room closed office layout. Work was completed in a secure airside area and required daily coordination with GTAA Security and Operations for access and staging.
Project Detail
- Demolition of select interior walls and finishes from the original layout
- Framing and drywall construction of four new enclosed offices
- Ceiling tile replacement, including cutting to fit the new partitions
- Relocation of lights, sprinklers, and HVAC diffusers to align with the new office layout
- Flooring removal and installation – replacement with carpet tile and vinyl as specified
- Painting of all walls and doors
- Hardware installation on newly framed office doors
- Coordination with certified sub-trades for sprinkler adjustment and electrical modifications
